I will not be censored
If I hear my page looks like a welcome page to the White House or a Republican Candidates page one more time I'm going to start getting ridiculously patriotic on hurr. haha It's a beach scene losers.
Ohhh man I got to play chess today. I love playing chess. Not to imply I'm good at it or anything, because I'm not, but I do love playing. It makes me feel closer to some family members of mine when I can't be. I also think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they play chess. But I also think you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes.
I also ran into Steve Covell at the coffee shop. I was surprised he recongnized me and even more surprised he called me over and talked to me for quite a while. We were friends in high school, but that good of friends or anything. It was a nice conversation, I just wish I hadn't been ugly dancing right in front of him oblivious to him when he noticed me. eeeerk.
More happenings at the coffee shop... I was wearing my Brazilian hoodie since it's green and today is St. Patty's Day and all and the girl behind the counter (who was obviously Latin of some sort) said "Nice hoodie!". So I said to her "Ahhh fala Portugues?" (Do you speak Portuguese in Brazilian Portuguese) and she said yes and asked me back. I quickly realized how fast you can lose a langauge when you don't hear it or use it. Wow. I didn't understand her. But I was really happy to have met someone from Brazil, I miss my Brazilian friends in Florida a lot. Ironically I had gone over my 2004 blog yesterday and it's mostly about me hanging with them and learning about their culture and foods etc. I miss Florida a lot. Teardrop.
Anyway back to the girl behind the counter. I quickly realized who she was.. It was Gabriella my little brothers martial arts teachers wife. haha following me? Anyway James had told her a lot about me and told me a lot about her, but we never met. I'm so excited and I hope to see her again. It was fun to joke about people confusing Brazilian Portuguese with Spanish and other things. She asked if we had seen Borat which I found odd. I didn't know how to respond so I did what I always do and went with being all out thurr. I told her I had and asked if she thought it was funny. She did laugh she said.. but the part that was too much for her was the naked wrestling.
Then after the coffee shop we couldn't find the car. Everytime we went to the back of the alley it'd be in the front and when we'd make it to the front he'd pull around back. ugh. lol so we finally ended up in the same spot and he locked the doors and laughed at us, so we decided to make a run for it instead and race home. we took this alley with a huge snow pile and he tried to follow us. LOL then we jumped the pile and ran in the freezing cold accross town to the apt. I felt like a little kid, it was soooo fun!
So I promised to post my new thing of the day... well folks... today it was playing Mark in chess.
Also Mark showed me this photographer that pulls me in. I really love it. It's all kind of dark, but if you take the time to go through the different categories and really study the pictures you'll see they are truly amazing. The photographer is amazing for being able to expose himself to these things and capture them as well.
Welcome to Costco, I love you!
