stay out of the southside if you're a ten year old girl...

So ok, haha I had a great day. I laughed more today than I have in a loooong time.

I woke up at 5am this morning to the feeling that someone was running their hand up beside me on the bed so I freaked out and rolled over to see and this really old man was all crazy looking at me with his hands proped on my bed. I just stared at him, I couldn't move! Then I blinked and I could move and he was gone. If you haven't figured it out I was in that dream state where you are still asleep but concious and you can't move. ugh. Scary.

Then I noticed the sun shining and I got really happy. I thought it was going to be semi warm but I was def. wrong. haha.

I walked over to the coffee shop without a jacket on and froze to death. (ok obviously not litteraly)
I got to play chess which was really fun, but I wish I was better at it. I got smoked twice in a row. I'll get some practice and call a rematch.

I ran into my bro's friends Evan and Matt and that was quite an experience. I'll leave it at that and say that a "will you go out with me circle yes or no" note was invovled! YES! haha

Then I walked around town for a bit, since it's my favorite thing to do. I was all smiles in the sunshine. I am so happy about spring. Horray!

Then it was off to yoga. I always dread teaching yoga. I don't know why. I like doing it and my students are great, but I just don't like it. I think it's because it's hard to gauge if you're connecting with them. But I got to read out of Teeners book and the passage was so good. I love that book. Here is a piece of what I read today:
"yoga embodies the idea of good things to come. Once we realize that we can actually part with whatever it is we have been holding on to--the ten-year-old T-shirts with sentimental value, the receipts we never turned in, the clutter of our lives--we being to understand that we are clearing a space for something better. The past is dead, and we are making room for the living."

very good words to try to live by.

Then afterwards I came home and cooked a vegan burger and it made me feel like it was summer again. I only eat them at picnics usually and the smell brought me right back to grilling out at two mile. Mmmmm

Then I walked over to the meeting. It's my favorite meeting of the week. Everyone is bubbley and talkative and I know the group really well. I feel free to share even though my thoughts usually don't get past my mind. I'm still in the mindset that no one cares what I have to say. I'll get past it eventually. Bently's helping me with it.

Then off to Kings. I haven't done that in soooo long. It was the usual fun and shinanagins. (sp?) The claw machine, the cups of coffee, dares, etc etc. I laughed the whole time. I love A-May and her 'antics' too. le sigh.

Then the ride back to TP was sooooooooooo fun. We sang to the cd and made the stuffed animals dance and play and I was singing along. It was hillarious. I don't think we stopped laughing once. I forgot how fun it is to be goofy. Expect more of that to come.

And now..for the new thing of the day. SOUP. I know, loverbear, I promised I'd try tomato soup with you first, but A-May put the pressure on. I tried some turkey rice soup and almost puked! It was disgusting. The whole idea of soup is disgusting. It's soggy food. ewwww.

anyway. haha. Great day.
I love you friends.
